I want to thank you and all of the staff for the wonderful job you did for Tyler and for all of the youth that come through your door. We have seen remarkable changes in him and we can never express our gratitude for how much your staff helped him.
On the way home, Tyler said that he is excited about putting the things he learned at Eckerd into practice. I asked him what we could do to help him stay on track. He thought about it a second and said, “Actually, I think it is up to me.” That remark showed so much maturity and is something he would never have said prior to his time at Eckerd. Of course, I realize that Tyler isn’t perfect and there will be bumps in the road, but I have confidence that he will become the man he wants to be because of the staff at Eckerd.
Please convey my thanks to everyone for helping Tyler and keep up the good work! What you do is truly invaluable and again, we can never express our gratitude for bringing Tyler back from the destructive road he was traveling before he came to Eckerd.
