Will insurance cover the cost of your program?
It might. Since Eckerd Eckerd Academy is a licensed and accredited provider of adolescent treatment programs for troubled teens, some health insurance policies offer coverage for our program. Although we do not bill insurance agencies directly, our Admissions Department can help you verify benefits and our Accounting Department can supply you with documentation and invoices to assist you in obtaining insurance reimbursement. Insurance companies typically require a recent clinical evaluation recommending the medical necessity of placing your child in a residential treatment program. Please contact our Admissions Department, 800-914-3937, for more information. We’ll be glad to help you.

Does Eckerd Academy offer financial assistance?
We work with families to help them explore all options for financing the treatment program. For example, many of our parents obtain low-interest, flexible payment educational loans to cover part or the entire program. Our Admissions Department can assist you in applying for these loans that can make our program more affordable through low monthly payments for families that qualify.
